Indian benchmark indices are likely to open higher on Wednesday, tracking firm cues from Nifty futures on the Singapore Stock Exchange and trading across Asian markets amid North Korea woes. Markets in Asia remained cautious after North Korea fired a missile over northern Japan on Tuesday. The report also suggested that Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said in a statement that the launch was reckless and unprecedented. In the overnight trade, Wall Street ended higher as investors shrugged-off concerns about the latest North Korean missile launch, with major indexes steadily climbing into positive territory.
